I was at a baseball game today -- first time in over a decade -- and it was almost unbearable. The worst "music" blaring all the time, and some brown dyke DJ named "Elev8" trying to get the crowd going. Then there's the giant plastic single use plastic cup-things full of slush slop, and of course fake cheese nachos and shitty, ridiculously overpriced beer.

Anyway, I don't see enough threads on this site about music and how pernicious it is. People listen to music non-stop and most of it is nigger slop that feeds the ego. You can tell which players are toxic in the club house by their entrance music.

BUt in spite of how corny this whole show was, I got the feelign that if I tried to separate the masses from their slop they would be furious.

TL;DR Not only do we listen to too much music culturally, most of it is slop that shouldn't be made at all. Be careful what you listen to.
