I wonder this about earth craters too. They're all shaped in a such a way where every single "meteorite" would have to had hit the earth by coming straight down in a perfect line. There's literally no craters where this isn't the case. Craters are something else that we're not told.
And I know people are gonna say "meteorites crashing at an angle STILL make the same shape!" Really? Throw a metal ball really hard at the sand at a low angle, see how that looks. Then do it directly above. Then scale it up to a huge rock coming in hot at many miles per hour and imagine how it would effect similar soft ground like it already does, but with multiple tons of force. It doesn't add up.
