I have a wee bit of hope in me that faerin will be dialed down from what they originally planned for her in midnight and last titan, faith and flame was surely planned and written far before the backlash started rising. the talanji comparison feels right, after this world soul saga I feel like she'll be left sitting pretty in some fancy and powerful role that'll never be utilized in any meaningful way in the future. she may be the forced diversity kween but she's also a female character in a blizzard product.
