Zwei Ish is simply her best generalist ID other than Ishab
And for what it's worth, you only really use her in tricky boss fights and defending once isn't really that much of an issue, since the best part about her is the 10 aggro that makes the boss focus her down so you have a free turn(usually 2 since she can survive it) to unga bunga

Devyat Rodion is super underrated and only kills herself on the longest boss fights, she deals a ton of damage once she ramps up(just from existing, very winrate friendly) and is actually pretty tanky with her self-shield so she can eat up unbreables no problem, plus she has Mao synergy from her rupture count neutral attacks
Her actual issue is her SP drain when fully maxed out, she becomes worthless before she dies so you gotta defend to kick her out, but this only happens on boss fights
Heishou is also a great generalist but her damage struggles until she ramps up and if you don't use her defense skill at the start of the fight she takes longer to ramp up than Devyat

>Red Eyes
Mao deals more damage(and has haste which is very useful) and ramps up super fast, Red Eyes deals less a bit damage and takes longer to ramp up in exchange of being super tanky, healing her own SP and supporting the team a bit.
In a vacuum RE is better, but considering that Maost is the best ID in the game, that Maoshu is not very far behind and that she has direct synergy with Maost and Mao Outis then Maoshu wins.
