You do not need to do the highest difficulty. It's C6/C2R1+C2R1 territory for gigawhales.
All meaningful rewards end in D4
The "rewards" for D6 are TEMPORARY visual effects, so you can't even say you "missed" on permanent rewards like the combat event namecard.
It's a singleplayer game, you probably already run visual/transmog mods locally that others can't see, there's nobody to brag to.
If it motivates gigawhale gachaniggers to stay with the game, that's fine by me.
