AI was already a problem like 2 years ago when it was found that AI slop had already managed to make up more than 50% of content on the internet, but nothing has made me more of a doomer than watching AI progress to the point that you can now generate a fake news scene thats becoming increasingly harder to notice, and the fact that literally ones fucking talking about it at all. not even a public discourse of "hey this is happening really fast how are we going to handle the flow of information as a society with this" on social media just fucking NOTHING. the closest we've gotten is media giants realizing that AI can generate their properties and filing lawsuits recently, but that doesnt solve any of the real insane shit like the how theres already AI generated crime flooding places like facebook and instagram.
