You don't necessarily start out yapping about comics, but if you ask about her and show interest in her end of things, a nice girl might very well reciprocate the gesture and entertain your yapping about your own silly hobbies in turn. I've made friends with some normie girls with normie girl interests, and asking and hearing about their love for Taylor Swift and BookTube/BookTok has in turn tilled the field for me to go on multiple Internerd spergdumps and rants that they've likewise let me go off about. One of my buddies who used to be notoriously one-note and insufferably in-your-face about anime and weeb stuff all the time eventually met a nice normie girl who wasn't into those interests, found things to love about her and met her halfway, and now they've been happily married for almost a year! I've gotta admit, pretty much every girl I've had a serious crush on to where I'd absolutely want to go out with them if they'd reciprocated has been someone I found physically unattractive at first, but got to find cool and endearing through hanging out with them. Good looks help, but personality and compatibility do some heavy lifting when it comes to love and romance.
