I've had DMs straight up just refuse to use Fey near me because they know I'm such a pedant for wording requests so as to not be misconstrued that they are concerned that I'd ruin their fun with the Fey
All they have to do is ask me outside the table to let the others make the mistakes unless it's super out of character for whoever I'm playing
