Yes, a proper motivation does help a lot, but that's not the only problem. Thread's pic is literally some random image and it's not really interesting for the anons - they won't even look here. Additionally the theme is too complex. Just make it about doctor/nurse mares and it's gonna be good. Drawfags want to be creative and free - the theme should be just a helper rather than a strict set of rules. Also, what is the title ? Which pony/poners are we promoting the pack with ? The dates ? Deadlines ? Price ? Where do we send the art ? There is literally nothing here. There are no actual propositions either. Just expectations.
I like the idea, I think it's pretty good, but to push things forward we need something more than just an idea - we need to brainstorm a bit.

With that in mind, tldr - let's get the title of the pack and mares to promote it with first.
I would go for something simple like "First Aid". It's short and clear. It's also a pretty good name for an OC. We could make one and promote the pack with her or make the OC now and leave the title for later. Let's say she's a... Redheart's daughter or something.
If that sounds good, some drawfag could make the first concept art of her - that's how we start. Also, as already mentioned the current thread's picture fucking sucks. I would create a new thread with new doctor mare's concept art. That's how we'll keep the thread on the first page.
