I'm really not sure how any of this discredits the existence of god. You can sum it up as;

Although accepting that also means accepting that God doesn't have "a plan for everyone" and the idea of the lord himself giving babies life threatening birth defects and childhood leukemia as his grand plan seems to be a bridge too far for some people.
