Yeah, I totally get it because I'm similar. There will be stretches of time where I'm sociable, reaching out to everyone maintaining contact. Then I'll recluse once my battery is dry and not talk to anyone. It's not a personal attack on somebody when I do that.

NTA but I feel you on that. When you're lonely as we are, it's tempting and easy to stretch your limb out too far so to speak, only to get bit and hurt for it in response. It sucks.
