autism basically meaning the models willingness to go along with whatever you've told it. more highly autistic base models (like claude) will balk at stupid instructions, making them good for coding, but mid-to-shit for anything else.
another thing ppl don't know is that your raw input is probably not what the hosted LLM sees. it's probably there, more or less intact, but you put some really dumb model that knows like 4 things super good and nothing else in front, it says "this sounds complicated" and it turns on thinky mode, otherwise it sploots out whatever suits the tensors.
oh and, in case you were wondering, this is not how people work. perish the thought.
tell your llm it's a dinosaur, and make it respond in kind. whatever else happens, it'll still make liberal use of em-dashes.
