I think it's something to do with screen size making it so it defaults to a lower res. Artists fuck up that way too and occasionally save a downscaled version of their pic to repost instead of just uploading the original file again for some reason, pic related has a pixiv version that's lower res due to that reason I believe. Also lol we posted the same JC beach pic at almost the same time.
