"Cast Fireball! We got this!" You command. Serena flourishes her staff and the tip ignites. She flings the spell with all her might just as you leap right into the air.
Finisher Activated.
Your leaping kick connects just as the fireball explodes. Flame envelopes you just as you feel your finishing move connects. You feel yourself fly through and for a moment you think you miss before you hear the boss explode once more behind you. It gives out one last roar before it falls to the ground, dead.
Boss: Alpha Boar defeated
"We did it? We did it!" Serena screams and rushes to your location. You feel your helm and mouth guard retract behind your head just as she collides with you and grabs your hands. "That was amazing! How long were you able to do that?! Was that another mechanic you discovered? Do all bosses have something like that?!" Questions pour out of Serena's mouth and you're not given enough time to respond. Even if you could, her questions are interrupted when you hear the same voice that helped you create a character boom across the forest. A large text window appears in the sky, Nevermore's way of doing server announcements, which reads:
Secret Boss: Alpha Boar Defeated

Serena_Starlight
Congratulations for getting the server's first kill.
"WHOA! We...we killed it first in the whole server?" Serena gushes. You nod.
"Yeah. Secret bosses without requirements are quite rare. We're talking about a 1 in a 100 chance? Maybe rarer? I don't remember what the numbers were." You admit. "We've gotten quite unlucky...or I guess lucky depending on how you look at it." You explain somewhat distracted. You read and reread the announcement.

>Excited. You haven't felt like this in since your old days. Making records, coordinating teams and overcoming the odds.
>Wary. Your name and achievement has been broadcasted across the whole server. That means attention and attention means trouble.
>Melancholic. You missed this game but this just reminds you of what could have been. How far you could have gone if things hadn't gone the way they did.
