There's pretty much no "midrange" abyss, all the abyss followers other than legendaries are not suited for that playstyle right now. You go face or you play control and lose to dshift.
My typical game as aggro vs rune:
t1 nothing because 1 drops fuck with cerb
t2 nightmare or any other 2 drops if unlucky
t3 balto/crypt/+1pp fighter if second
>they don't have annegrea
you win
>they have annegrea
play aragavy
>no aragavy
go next
>they have 2 annegrea
go next

Other than that evo face every turn you can, play detective 3 drop because abyss commons are so shit you may as well and the lens helps sometimes, typically you win between t6 and t8 which i suppose technically makes it midrange i guess but really it's aggro, you hit face all game and let them trade your board, it's just fucking slow for an aggro deck, hope they print more support next pack
Playing this deck you also accept insta losing to sword but control abyss also insta loses to sword so aggro is still the better deck, GOD i miss my blood wolves
