You are out of your damn mind if you think Flam would be safe with any of the factory men. In the manga its the wives who bathed Flam but the factory men most of them wanted her dead at worst and driven out at best. But lets be honest we all read doujinshi, you, I and everyone in this thread knows for a fact Flam would be raped by every single man in the factory if she was left in their care. They all vocally hated her and even yelled at Jin, a child, over how he needs to get rid of her. Jin sounded like the nuns kept her from dying but she still spent months recovering with Jin before she was able to start walking on her own power
