No, that´s the point. He didn´t mention Gleiwitz in his speech and in the German press it was rarely ever mentioned. He only mentions a total number of recent incidents, be that number correct or not. Even the completely brainwashed German mainstream historians acknowledge that though they do claim that the incident was faked by the SS.
That´s why I said the story about the "faked incident" makes no sense. It´s not a moral point I´m making, just a logical one. Why go all the way to fake something and then not use it?
The whole Gleiwitz-complex (let´s just call it that way for now) came into the prominence it has today only after the war.
