Gold is unironically an ass groper in the GSC arc, because anime humor. VIZ censored it of course and now newer Gold stans lose their fucking minds if you show them the original panels. While he seems to outgrow that kind of thing by the Emerald arc, it's common in fanworks for Ruby to instinctively dislike Gold and try keeping Sapphire away from him (none of this is in canon since the Emerald arc rushed through the dex holder interactions, but desu it's a natural conclusion to make). For more tension it's also pretty obvious Gold and Sapphire have a lot in common and they would probably get along very well. And even if he's not a molester anymore, Gold would probably really appreciate her ORAS ass.
