To be fair, Temari does work with Re;Iris though there's an argument that she wasn't that "set in" yet in the route to develop anything that possessive. It's actually quite shocking to hear her gush about how Re;Iris is "how units are meant to be" in the apple interview as if something was wrong with Syng-Up.
And that's kinda true. Temari was stifled and Misuzu herself complained how she's always told to go out of her own pace in her route too. It probably only really worked due to past Rinha being like Ume. Ume does feel like the core of Begrazia and I'm sure Rinha was the same. When she "rebelled", Syng Up lost its core/sun, and so it broke up.
It's pretty interesting to see if the Rinha route is about her returning to the Ume-Rinha or moving forward with the current one. Probably a little of both but Ume actually also does the whole "cheating" thing too so I doubt you'd get the Syng-Up unit. Really the only way is to get that Rinha Ume back but I think that's not part of the messaging of Gakuen.
