Really? I know it starts out weak as hell I would die on that hill in that regard, but the moment you hit hard mode season 1 it starts getting cool. Of course I admit I’m a sucker for the battle music so maybe I enjoyed going through the story more than you did.

If nothing else, at least their first collab showed how willing the devs are to put work into researching their collab partner and making the collab story fun. While it wasn’t anywhere near as touching as SB collab, K and Bell had a way better chemistry than any SB did with Nikke. Rather the stars of the SB collab we’re clearly Rom/Com/Herman/etc, but in OP x Danmachi it gave the impression Bell/Hestia/Ais/Ryu could have settled down in Mirsha and wouldn’t look out of place thanks to how OP world building is.
