Yeah, Shaoji neglected and abandoned Castorice in the story for his HI3 bullshit. You and Castorice spend a substantial amount of time together, but that time is not spent getting to know each other (or her). There are large sections where you traverse with Castorice; that time is NOT spent connecting with her and the player like they did with Firefly. Instead, Shaoji relies solely on promotional trailers to sell Castorice.

And even with that, she was still the best part. And then you look at the rest.
