I respect you enough to do your own research on your local purchasing options for cabinets so I won't dwelve into that but as a forum MFC can be quite helpful as it's the MAL equivalent of figures: https://myfigurecollection.net/
It also helps browse figures of a character and especially see other people's bootlegs to get a feel for them if you want to avoid them. Can also compare bootlegs to originals. You can also find deals in the articles of figures but I just use AmiAmi and Goodsmile for my purchases.

I don't use Reddit but r/animefigures is a helplful and unjudgemental place as well. Likely the largest figure forum on the net.
