It doesn't matter about the game mechanics so much as the gacha mechanics and overall character designs. If people really wanted pokemon/palworld then they would go play the actual game without restricted resource management and time gates.

Ultimately what people are doing in gacha games is playing for sexy characters to roll/save for like barbie dolls to play around with in a decent sandbox. The game is important but the characters are way more important.

The big ass titty elves and lolis are just as important for getting people to play the game as the palworld mechanics are.
