The new dungeon is just a higher difficulty of the golem dungeon and the enemies are indeed very spongy, and clearing one room takes a long time, also you die in three hits, and your stamina is at 0 at all times, parry timings are weird as well, the golem enemy has some weird attack where he throws a rock and it does like 3 instances of damage and it looks like you're being hit by a dark souls 2 shockwave.
