unfortunately, this is a common issue in big hoyo ships. One character orbitates around the other whereas the second character has meaningful interactions with different people. It's not even a fujo exclusive, even yuri ships can suffer from this. Mei was just a Kiana simp for years whereas Kiana never existed around her.
