I ... did not like Natlan story that much because everything felt so ... out of place. Nation of war being peaceful paradise with all the comfort of modernity and wrestlin and then there is dark purple eye in the sky and then there dark red eye in the sky. And all i can make out of it, that it's just some cosmic horror thingy and we defeat it with power of friendship and screaming out loud. I just couldn't place these events and scenes in what i saw in genshin story before. The nails, the upside down statue, the field tiller heart, abyss mages scheming, and fatui being antagonists and celestians sleeping through Focalor's death... >>714948610
Yeah, they came and dragons lost, but like it obviously wasn't knights killing dragons like in some medieval fantasy because those dragons are bit alien looking. I did have some idea what is happening inside Teyvat and i felt it's little bit like Discworld, but Discworld is very explicitly floating in space of backs of multiple animals, Teyvat always felt more like and hollow sphere with abyss on the outside and celestia overseeing those heavenly principles and otherwise ignoring everyting. But i am not sure anymore.
