Oh, I never said it was freedom or thinking freely, it was about Informed Choice and what you Choose to actually believe in.
I believe in what I choose to believe in, because I choose to believe in it; likewise I choose to write this response, likewise I choose this outcome.
The origins of these choices, may not be truly self originated, like your second point; however, ultimately, I willingly and knowingly accept those choices as Mine, because at the end of the day, I am my own Master.
And that is quite true of literally everyone else as well, "The Ultimate Arbiter of your own life is You" so again, we have to ask
"How much of your You is actually you making informed and self owning Choice; and how much of it is actually just catering to the words/beliefs/wants/expectations of others?"
This has nothing to do with Freedom, because the only Freedom that exists is Death. This has everything to do with Choice, of which, the entirety of your existence is a series of multiple ones.
