The answer is simple. Unless your job is actually important or peoples lives are on the line. You just show up and do the bare minimum. This is what I do. I don't give a shit at all. I don't care if they fire me. As long as you show up when you're supposed to that is enough at most places. Now if they downsize you will likely be let go but that could happen even if you actually gave a shit. Stop giving a shit is the answer.
