not really because it's an action game and not a png collector so it's kinda important to let people try things out and help them understand the gameplay more because ending up with a bunch of characters you don't like/can't use is probably the most common reason why people drop these kinds of games and never come back, i think the main reason why the game is doing poorly financially (if it actually is doing poorly) is because all the new characters are complete ass with really generic uninspiring designs, there's just no badass factor in a bunny girl with huge tits and the homophobia eyes playing around with her goofy ahh wobbly rapier like once again who the fuck wants to play as that and see that on the screen for the most of the time when playing and i really think you're capping with this "npcs letting out sounds when you talk to them" speak because i cannot establish a mental image of this happening despite playing the game with the sound on from time to time therefore it's probably not real and you're gaslighting
