I think it's mostly because Nod-Krai is brand-new and already established the whole scrap/junk punk aesthetics from the get-go
Meanwhile there were 4 years of anticipation for Natlan, with a very tribal-looking Iansan being our only reference, so the art direction shift was kinda shocking. I think there would be far less complaints about the bike if it had the local secret source aesthetic
