Fantastic canvas all around! Always nice seeing a chock full canvas like this. Wish I could've been there but 3am canvas at the end of the weekend is rough... but I'm happy to see doko (see: f23) absolutely dominating the canvas (I'm sure (no bias)). Almost as happy as I am to see not one but two Irabus! Super cute work as always f23. He'd love this kinda thing and would definitely rep doko with pride. And I don't recognise the style on the jinbei (?) Irabu but he is just adorable. Perfect for this hot summer weather. I want to go to a festival with him and buy him chocolate coated apples. Absolute madman drawing until the last possible second. And maybe beyond that. Either way, wonderful work! Even at this point you still gotta go for those partial animation points. I kneel. But also those glittering eyes are just too cute. The inclusion of the hydrangeas really adds to the composition as well. I've been walking past hydrangeas in full bloom when I go to the store and it really reminds me how they're my favourite flower. To see him with them is an absolute joy.

This event was certainly rough around the edges, and could've used a lot more planning, but I think doing something like this for the first time is always going to be difficult, and well, it was certainly fun to dive into the chaos. Shoutouts to my fellow dokos for being a great team to fight alongside... and shoutouts to flocko for being a worthy opponent. I look forward to the next war, whenever that may be.
