I want to establish that all of these results from these legitimate surveys carried out by mainstream media sources received despite the fact that, according to psychological research standards, respondents are least likely to be honest during surveys in which certain answers have the chance to have negative repercussions. This is especially true in the case of reporting paranormal experiences. Many Americans have been held against their will in psych wards for reporting paranormal experiences. The only way out, afterwards, is to adopt an atheistic worldview, and a faith that God is real, and only acts in mysterious, invisible ways. This is religious oppression, and against our first amendment rights. Despite this illegal threat to our freedom of speech, we still see that the vast majority of Americans openly discuss that they have had paranormal experiences.
