Most of them who do it are just dumb kids. The key is to ridicule them mercilessly the second you hear them talking like an idiot. I mean, really embarrass them on the spot. Make them turn beet red with embarrassment for it. Make fun of them, laugh at them for sounding so dumb on purpose, but then, build them back up by saying something about how they are better than that and there is no reason for them to try and sound lower or more basic than they are, just to fit in. And that they should not be trying to fit in with such lowliness, rather, they should be building themselves up higher, and seeking out those who do the same.
