I do online bookkeeping, and during my days off I pick up shifts at the local H&R Block. Currently trying to double it up with anywhere that will hire me for overnight security guard work. But interestingly enough, the overnight security job market is resisting me tremendously.

I'm studying for the IRS enrolled agent exam because I'm not interested in getting a CPA. I majored in Chinese like a dumbass in university -- it is completely useless outside of the fact that I personally find it interesting. But when I was 17 I was pretty dumb and that kind of investment decision should not have been made, yeah yeah I get it. My logic is essentially... if I'm going to have to pay American taxes despite living overseas anyway, I might as well make American taxation my business. I'm not completely opposed to getting a CPA in the future, but the question I have now is, will I even need it?

I'm currently enjoying distance running in the 100 degree heat, fueled by gallons of fruit and juice. I'm losing weight so fast it's insane. My neighbors are concerned with my health, I just told them I have AIDS. They didn't like the joke.
