I have come to the conclusion, if you want to call it that, that the purpose of Man is to contemplate God. That and act as a caretaker of the Garden of Eden that they have been given. Just those two main things.
But I don't see many people pondering God, pondering the infinite that can never truly be grasped. And I hardly see people tending the good Earth. If I was still able to be sad, those things would make me sad. But you can only see so many things fall into the Void and be erased before eventually, you just can't stress over every little thing.

I still get sad though. I'd never say it in public, but here at the bottom of time, I can say it. I have to act strong when I'm up top. But down here, I can be honest. It's why I spend so much time in the depths. I've become more cozy with the monsters than the angels. When you're invincible, what real difference does it make? I just get tired of the angels and their gleaming robes. I wonder, what does God really want? I never stop thinking about it
