A bunker wouldn't even have to be that big. Like thirteen feet by thirteen feet is plenty of space for a main show room, then maybe eight by eight for storing food and a bed. You could dig that in a weekend, then if you need more space you just keep digging.

Pallets rot and collapse but bunkers are eternal.
