It's annoying, but when you're sat down for a marathon run, you're basically already stressed and locked in. With those instincts, you can't find yourself complaining too much, or else you probably wouldn't have the nerves to even do a good run at all. You essentially accept that you're not going to give your best possible run, you just hope to give a decent or funny version of it with the marathon handicap
