NTA and i hate these grim posters a lot too. But I feel like the difference is that when stan went to the US (or Japan if you were an AWA guy) and you followed him there, you were still getting stan hansen. It seems like when anyone gets poached for AEW they just start to get sloppy or booked like shit immediately. It's not so much losing an NJPW roster member, its like losing a wrestler entirely.
And to reiterate, i hate the grim posters and im not at all mad that Finlay is going to leave and go to WWE or Gabe ends up with the death riders. It just sucks that I'm probably not going to be able to enjoy them in these positions. This is especially true of Gabe, I think, since hes really only a face in Japan. The strong crowd always seemed to treat him like a heel and rocky seemingly booked him like one. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.
