The guy’s writing is a trainwreck—One Piece is a bloated, never-ending mess with pacing so sluggish it makes snails look speedy. He drowns us in pointless world-building, cramming every arc with forgettable characters, overwrought backstories, and cheesy shonen clichés that scream “buy my figurines.” His formula’s painfully predictable: Straw Hats hit an island, save a sob-story princess, beat a cartoonish villain, and party—repeat ad nauseam. The art? A chaotic jumble of details that’s more exhausting than impressive, masking weak storytelling with visual noise. Oda’s so lost in his own hype he can’t see he’s been milking nostalgia for years, dragging out a saga that should’ve ended ages ago.
