All of your life NPR had denied that it is funded by the federal government. Now that this
funding will be cut, NPR tells you defunding them is a public safety hazard.

Until now, defunding this bastion of establishment groupthink has been unthinkable: so
far outside the Overton window that anyone suggesting it was safely dismissed as a
demented kook.
