The first Horizon is a little guilty pleasure of mine, but that's really more on me liking the concept of cavemen mixing with robots. The second any kind of exposition or lore drops in that game that even somewhat explains what the fuck happened to make things this way, it loses all fucking magic and becomes shit.
I at least appreciated being able to tell the retard tribe to fuck off but even that fell apart when I couldn't just abandon them at the end for being retarded shitters.
