I did think about that for a short time
That Dorothy's problem was more than simple mental illness but I'm glad this event debunked that.
She's just too prideful, and since she failed once she no longers believes in herself.
Remember during the SB collab when Snow White said that she believes in the Goddess of Victory when talking about Dorothy?
Dorothy needs to believe in herself again

I'm genuinely waiting for someone to drop the Gurren Lagann (again) reference about believe in the me believing in you when talking to Dorothy (likely Rapi at this point)
