Why do I find lusting after Cream to be...pedestrian?

Like there's nothing exotic or alluring there. Maybe it's her very subdued personality that doesn't give good insight into what a relationship with her would be like.

She's "very polite". Seems to be all you can really say about how an interaction with her might go.
