Haven't read the bottom circled one, but some 10% of high tech employees in Israel were in the IDF reserves. They come back all fucked up and mentally disabled and shit, so they lose their jobs, and there's a whole stigma around them with all Israeli employees, to stay away from reservists/veterans because they're loony toons and could be sent back to gaza at any moment and leave you fucked as a company.
