NTA, actually, since you're probably thinking of me
Though I don't feel entirely that way at least; I mean sure I would've liked it to remain kind-of serious, but to be honest with you the only thing that actually died at that volcano way back when was any expectations I had of there being a serious moment that could be enjoyed seriously.
I also didn't actually know what had happened to the Elves prior to this, because I put it off for ages due to finding the furry "thing" just that utterly repulsive and awful to look at, and I delayed 'recruiting' it at all costs until I had no choice but to do that series of missions if I wanted to guarantee sparking the Tengu Queen.
So when I did do them I fast-forwarded every scene if she was in it and eventually closed out the window entirely just to bypass the "ending" to that questline when I realized what was about to happen.
Yes, I really would rather alt+f4 and relog just to avoid her that much. She is disgusting.
I only realized what she did mid-translation when I searched the name.
But it's really obvious to me now why you nor anyone else actually cared. In hindsight this situation is entirely my own fault, and had I known beforehand I would've never gotten invested in him either.
I don't regret a damn thing though, still worth it.
>I was honestly surprised
perhaps Adramelek and Sonya set my standards too high. Regardless, you can't enjoy a good conflict if you can't enjoy the villain. Because if you're not motivated to beat up or care about the bad guy, then why care about anything he does at all?
He made the story fun, so I found him fun.
That's really it. I had zero investment in this otherwise.
>cute girl villain
I.....don't think I see what you're seeing.
Also Lottie isn't recruitable.
The punchline IS very funny though, so in the end I don't really mind since the joke was genuinely hysterical this time.
If anything, not knowing what was gonna happen to him only makes it even funnier.
