Blessings had some annoying exploration bits but I loved the world building it added, especially pic related. I heard Serial Battles was really bad but I played it after the patch that made way more battles skippable so I fought basically nothing that route, I could see it being annoying if you were playing those instead of just getting to read the story of it which was a pretty good answer to what happens if the enemies find the lab and use it well.
