The sun rises once more. Birds sing merrily in the morning light. Fluffy clouds float along on the breeze, as waves crash against the shore. The city awakens.

Today, Clover isn’t woken by loud knocking at the door. Instead, she’s awoken by pain and the sound of crashing as her chair falls to the ground.

“…owwwww…”

The wolf-girl whines as she rubs at her head, sprawled out on the floor. She slowly stands, nursing a headache from staring at a screen until unholy hours of the night.

Routines were routine for a reason. The girl slowly brushes at her teeth while staring at her tired reflection in the mirror. Perhaps two nights of gaming into early morning awakenings was a little too much for her body to handle. Then, she shakes her head, sending toothpaste foam flying everywhere. A true wolf was never tired!

“Good morning, dad!”

She rushes to the breakfast table to pour herself another glass of milk and bowl of cereal. No note was waiting for her at her seat today. As she chomps down on cereal, legs kicking excitedly, she wonders what the day will have in store for her today. Hopefully, it’d be a lot better than yesterday!
