I had this weird intense realization the other day that my confidence in being able to find a woman to marry within the next 5-10 years is completely misplaced and probably some kind of psychological defense mechanism to keep myself from becoming too demoralized over the stark reality I am faced with on a daily basis
I was pretty high though, when I sobered up I went back to being unbothered by the prospect of being alone and childless for the rest of my life if things don't work out
