It's not even the difficulty that's the problem. The problem lies mostly on shilling mechanics blatantly telling you to pull for the latest toy which will also obviously fall off hard once shilling season has moved on from them. I miss using other older characters I've built, I miss having eureka moments fitting a 4 star character fittingly to a specific team, I miss the flexibility of team building in earlier HSR. Now, MoC, AS, PF, LCs, Character passives/buffs/debuffs are so hyper specific you might as well just spell their names on the descriptions. Unless you want to autistically minmax and spend on wheelchaor comps, consider team flexibility thrown out the window at this point. That's the fucking shame of it all, this game used to have a promise of being a good turn based game with gacha elements baked into it into a full blown monthly toy advertisement with an obvious planned obsolescence print written at the back. Fuck the devs.
