I had a neurology teacher once talk about a study on Ashkenazi Jews that found that there was a specific haplogroup within the community that had a gene that they believed related to the efficient handling of money. I remember locking in hard and scanning the room for allies, but nobody else was even smiling. I never could find what she was referencing, and I never knew how to ask her for all of her sources without raising suspicions.
